Because that's what we do best :)

We run around chasing dreams, we make mistakes, we laugh and we cry, we go through hellos and goodbyes. We get our hearts broken and then we fall in love all over again. We live. We create memories.

“You never know the biggest day of your life is going to be the biggest. The days you think are going to be big ones, they’re never as big as you make them out to be. It’s the regular days, the ones that started out normal, those are the days that end up being the biggest. You don’t recognize the biggest day of your life, not until you’re right in the middle of it. The day you commit to something or someone, the day you get your heart broken, the day you meet your soulmate, the day you realize there’s not enough time, because you wanna live forever. Those are the biggest days. The perfect days.”

Little Things

You know when you’re sitting with a bunch of people or that special someone and then suddenly the conversation stops and it’s just quiet? Not the awkward kind of silence, but the kind of silence that you treasure. The comfortable, peaceful silence where it’s just you and your thoughts, and you don’t have to worry about saying something or waiting for them to start another conversation, because you both know it’s not about keeping the conversation going or filling in the gaps, it’s just about enjoying the moment, even in the silence. Because you know those people are enjoying it as much as you are. Because you could just sit there all day without saying a word or doing a thing, and just being reminded of the things you did together and it would make you smile, and that makes you happy.

And that silence becomes another moment that you remember for the rest of your life. It doesn’t matter that it wasn’t a big moment, it’s still something you could look back on and say that in those few minutes, you were truly happy. It’s a little thing, but it’s mostly the little things in life that count, no?

“…I want to thank you for coming. Would I still do what I do if you didn’t? Yes, indeed I would. Because it makes me happy when the words fall together and the picture comes and the make-believe people do things that delight me. But it’s better with you, Constant Reader.”

-Stephen King

we can never be irreparably broken

“When adults say, ‘Teenagers think they are invincible” with that sly, stupid smile on their faces, they don’t know how right they are. We need never be hopeless, because we can never be irreparably broken. We think that we are invincible because we are. We cannot be born, and we cannot die.”

The worst thing about a great night is the morning after.

dear readers,

So I’ve decided to make another blog just for my Eurotrip :)

Here it is.

I do hope you’ll check it out (even though I’m still working on the site itself and my second post heh).

Because sometimes not telling makes it that much more special.

i just came to say hello o-o-o-oh

  • I’m looking forward to turning 20 (0___0), but also am very sad that I have only 7 more months of 19 left.
  • I’m very, very sarcastic.
  • I have this weird thing for Greek mythology.
  • I don’t exactly believe in regrets.
  • One of my best friends lives in England, one lives in Spain, one lives the awesome city of Bangkok, one’s in Japan, and the other one’s my sister.
  • I love traveling.
  • I think my absolute favorite place on earth might just be Salou (if you don’t know it, google it, and go).
  • The other place is Barcelona.
  • I’m a culé. Visca el Barça!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I want to travel the world.
  • I believe that everybody should go on a Eurotrip at least once in their lives.
  • My blog will not be in any way dinosaur-related, despite the name of the blog. There’s a story behind that.
  • I love the beach but am not particularly a fan of swimming in the ocean.
  • I’m still a little hung up on Brugge. There’s also a (lame, boring, sad, borderline-pathetic, kinda-a-little-bit-cliché) story behind that.
  • I’m studying fashion design but do not have any plans or desire to be a designer in the future whatsoever.
  • I’m pretty fucking awesome.

There goes my first post. :)
